A W occurrence located in the NW¼ (estimated) sec. 10, T14S, R26E, MDM, 2.2 km (7,200 feet) SW of Dunlap (¼ mile from the road), on National Forest land. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 500 meters.
Mineralization is hosted in marble. Patches of tactite in a marble xenolith. The marble xenolith is 70 by 200 feet, and at least 60 feet deep in basic intrusive rock. Local rocks include Mesozoic granitic rocks, unit 3 (Sierra Nevada, Death Valley area, Northern Mojave Desert and Transverse Ranges).
Workings include surface openings comprised of an open cut 30 feet by 15 feet and 12 feet deep.
Analytical data results: less than 0.2% WO3.
