A former W mine located in the NE¼ (estimated) sec. 1, T11S, R23E, MDM, 2.1 km (6,900 feet) S of Tollhouse (½ mile from US highway 168). Operated during 1943. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 500 meters.
Mineralization is hosted in skarn (tactite). The ore body is a pendant in granodiorite; 2 tactite lenses. Associated rocks include diorite. Local rocks include Mesozoic granitic rocks, unit 3 (Sierra Nevada, Death Valley area, Northern Mojave Desert and Transverse Ranges).
Workings include surface openings comprised of an open cut.
