A W occurrence located in the SW¼ (estimated) sec. 8, T11S, R25E, MDM, 3.7 km (2.3 miles) NW of Cats Head Mountain (coordinates of record), near Cole Spring, on National Forest land. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 500 meters.
Mineralization involves a tactite zone hosted in schist. The ore body is 1.22 meters thick, 3.66 meters wide and 3.66 meters long. Local rocks include Mesozoic granitic rocks, unit 3 (Sierra Nevada, Death Valley area, Northern Mojave Desert and Transverse Ranges).
Workings include surface openings comprised of a trench - exposure poor.
