A former placer Au deposit/mine located in sec. 28, T4N, R12E, MDM, 2.3 km (1.4 miles) ENE of Kentucky House and 3.5 km (2.2 miles) SE of San Andreas, along Willow Creek, S of highway 49. Property consisted of 40 acres. Tailings indicated in the NW¼NE¼ sec. 28 . MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 500 meters.
Local rocks include Paleozoic marine rocks, undivided, unit 4 (Western Sierra Nevada).
