A former lode Au mine located in sec. 23, T3N, R10E, MDM, 2.5 km (1.5 miles) E of Jenny Lind, S of North Gulch and E of the Calaveras River (7 miles S of Valley Springs). MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 500 meters. Logan gives the location as sec. 17, T14E (may be/probably another Wild Goose locality - see file in Mindat).
Mineralization is a vein deposit. Local rocks include Mesozoic volcanic rocks, unit 2 (Western Sierra Foothills and Western Klamath Mountains).
Workings include underground openings.
