A former Au mine located in the SE¼NW¼ (estimated) sec. 32, T3N, R13E, MDM, of Angels Camp, along Greenhorn Creek. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 500 meters.

NOTE: USGS MRDS database file #10029110 presents erroneous geographic coordinates of 120.56601W, 38.15574N.

Mineralization is a vein deposit with a phyllite and slate footwall and a green schist hanging wall. The ore body strikes N60W and dips NE. Local rocks include undivided pre-Cenozoic metavolcanic rocks, unit 2 (undivided).

Workings include underground openings. Developed by an open inclined shaft. Extensively worked many years ago.
