A Cr occurrence located in the NW¼ sec. 26, T3N, R11E, MDM, 1.5 km (0.9 mile) ESE of Lost City. MRDS database accuracy for this location is not stated.
Probably one of the Salt Spring Valley chromic iron occurrences reported in state bulletin 38 and bulletin 173, as follows: 10 miles NE of Milton on ranch of Captain John Wright in serpentine belt which skirts the western base of Bear Mountains; on Tower Ranch, 9 miles E of Milton, near Angels Stage Road. Small serpentine outcrops shown in this section and section 36, T3N, R11E; also in section 1, T2N, R11E, and in secs. 6, 7, 17, 18 & 20, on map GQ-222. Local rocks include Mesozoic volcanic rocks, unit 2 (Western Sierra Foothills and Western Klamath Mountains).
Not shown in bulletin 134. This would be a mineralogic curiosity except that it is shown in folio No. 11.
