A former pair of lode Au mines located in secs. 25 & 26, T1N, R11E, MDM, 3.2 km (2.0 miles) SSE of Telegraph City, S of Hog Hill (6½ miles SW of Copperopolis). MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 1,000 meters. The first mine is estimated to be located in the SW¼ sec. 25 and the second mine is estimated to be located in the SE¼ sec. 26, which may be the Telegraph Cu Mine.
Mineralization is a vein deposit. Local rocks include Mesozoic volcanic rocks, unit 2 (Western Sierra Foothills and Western Klamath Mountains).
