A former marble (dimension) deposit/quarry located 1.6 km (5,300 feet), E of San Andreas. MRDS database accuracy for this location is not stated.
Mineralization is a metamorphosed marble deposit. The deposit is a very compact, finely crystalline white asnd mottled marble, located on a hillside and easily accessible. Local rocks include Paleozoic metavolcanic rocks, unit 4 (Western Sierra Nevada Foothills).
Workings include a small prospect pit (anda small quarry ??).
Product was used in erecting the hall of records at San Andreas.
