A former lode Au mine located in the SE¼ (estimated) sec. 19, T6N, R13E, MDM, 0.5 km (0.3 mile) WNW of Glencoe, on the NE slope of Alabama Hill (3 miles SW of West Point). MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 100 meters.
Mineralization is a vein deposit hosted in Late Permian slate. The ore body strikes N10W and dips 65NE at a thickness of 0.61 meter (2 foot thick quartz vein). Local rocks include Paleozoic marine rocks, undivided, unit 4 (Western Sierra Nevada).
Workings include underground openings comprised of 2 shafts with the N shaft at 92 feet and the S shaft at 180 feet.

A small amount of Au was produced in 1914.
