A former placer Au-Ag occurrence/dredge mine located in sec. 21, T4N, R10E, MDM, 0.7 km (0.4 mile) ENE, of Burson, on the Hiatt Ranch. Operated from February 1 to July 10, 1941. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 1,000 meters.
Local rocks include Eocene nonmarine rocks, unit 1 (Northern and Central California).
Workings included surface dragline dredging operations.
Production statistics: 199 ounces of Au and 14 ounces Ag were recovered from 25,000 cubic yards of gravel.
