A former hydraulic placer Au mine located in the SE¼NW¼ sec. 2, T3N, R12E, MDM, 2.5 km (1.5 miles) SSW of Caliveritas and 1.2 km (0.8 mile) NE of Fourth Crossing (San Andreas District). Property consisted of 56 acres. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 100 meters.
Mineralization is a placer gold deposit on the Fort Mountain channel. Local rocks include undivided pre-Cenozoic metavolcanic rocks, unit 2 (undivided).
