A placer drift Au occurrence/mine located in sec. 21, T4N, R12E, MDM, 2.9 km (9,400 feet) ESE of San Andreas, E of the airport. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 500 meters.
Mineralization is a placetr Au deposit situated on the Central Hill channel. Local rocks include Paleozoic metavolcanic rocks, unit 4 (Western Sierra Nevada Foothills).
Workings include underground openings comprised of a 56 foot deep shaft.
