A former lode Au mine located in sec. 10, T5N, R13E, MDM, about 4.35 km (3 miles) SSW of Railroad Flat, along Jack Nelson Creek. MRDS database accuracy for this location is not stated.

Mineralization is a vein deposit. Local rocks include Paleozoic marine rocks, undivided, unit 4 (Western Sierra Nevada).

Workings include underground openings comprised of a 160 foot drift adit and a 60 foot shaft.
