A former lode Cu-Au-Ag-Zn mine located in sec. 24, T1N, R11E, MDM, 2.5 km (1.6 miles) ESE of Telegraph City, and just ESE of Quail Hill (just NW of the Collier Mine). MRDS database accuracy for this location is not stated.
Mineralization is hosted in greenstone. Local rocks include Mesozoic volcanic rocks, unit 2 (Western Sierra Foothills and Western Klamath Mountains).
In 1944, the U.S. Bureau of Mines drilled two holes which disclosed the presence of Zn-Cu-Au & Ag minerals. No commercial ore was intersected.
