A former lode Au mine located in the SW¼ sec. 19, and in the E½ sec. 24, T4N, R14E, MDM, 2.4 km (1.5 miles) SE of Cave City, along San Antonio Creek (on the N ridge of the creek; on the ridge between Indian Creek and San Antonio Creek; 4 miles NW of Murphys; near Bon Ton). Operated around 1895, during the period 1912 to 1914, and in 1933. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 1,000 meters.
Mineralization is a vein deposit hosted in mica schist. The ore body strikes E and dips 80S. Local rocks include Paleozoic marine rocks, undivided, unit 4 (Western Sierra Nevada).
Workings include underground openings comprised of a 110 foot deep shaft and 2 crosscut adits.
