A former placer Au occurrence/drift mine located in secs. 22 & 27, T3N, R13E, MDM, about 2.65 km ENE of Kentucky House, about 4.65 km N of Fourth Crossing and about 5 km SE of San Andreas, N of Calaveritas Creek. Located prior to 1900. Owned by Romie Rolleri. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 100 meters.
Mineralization is a placer Au deposit located on the Central Hill paleochannel. Local rocks include Tertiary pyroclastic and volcanic mudflow deposits, unit 9 (Cascade Range).
