A former lode Au mine located in sec. 12, T3N, R14E, MDM, 2.6 km (1.6 miles) SW of Stanislaus (Tuolumne County), about 6.35 km ESE of Murphys, S of Yea Hoo Gulch along the Stanislaus River. Property was 58 acres. May have been prospected in the 1930's. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 1,000 meters.

Mineralization is hosted in slate and quartzite. The ore body strikes W and dips steeply N. The vein filling is white to grey quartz. Local rocks include Paleozoic marine rocks, undivided, unit 4 (Western Sierra Nevada).

Workings include underground openings comprised of several W-trending drift adits.
