A former lode Au-Cu-Ag mine located in sec. 11, T4N, R10E, MDM, 1.0 km (0.6 mile) S of Campo Seco (2 miles NW of Valley Springs on the N slope of Table Mountain). MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 100 meters.
Mineralization is a vein deposit. Local alteration resulted in the veins being capped by massive iron gossans, which carry Au & Ag.
Local rocks include Mesozoic volcanic rocks, unit 2 (Western Sierra Foothills and Western Klamath Mountains).
Workings include underground openings comprised of a shaft on the W vein and a 150 foot adit on the E vein.
