A former lode Au occurrence/mine located in sec. 15, T2N, R11E, MDM, 2.7 km (1.7 miles) W of Felix, on the S side of the Salt Spring Valley Reservoir. Operated around 1895. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 10,000 meters.
Local rocks include Mesozoic volcanic rocks, unit 2 (Western Sierra Foothills and Western Klamath Mountains).
Workings include underground openings comprised of a 70 foot vertical shaft. A 2-stamp mill was erected for ore treatment.
