A former placer Au-Ag occurrence/mine located in secs. 2, 3, 10 & 11, T4N, R9E, MDM, 2.2 km (1.4 miles) NW of Camanche, along the Mokelumne River, on the Amador County line. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 1,000 meters. This property is now inundated beneath the Camanche Reservoir.
NOTE: The coordinates provided place this locality just over the county line in Amador County. The entire area on both sides of the river were dredged.
