A Co occurrence/claim located in sec. 7, T5N, R12E, MDM, 1.1 km (0.7 mile) E of Mokelumne Hill (town), at the W end of Happy Valley, S of French Hill. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 500 meters.

Mineralization is asbolite, or Co-bearing wad. A small bunch of this material, 16 inches (40 cm) wide, occurred at surface, mixed with quartz. It pinched out at a depth of 6 feet, leaving only a seam less than 1 inch (<2.5 cm) wide, at a depth of 15 feet (4.7 meters). Local rocks include Mesozoic granitic rocks, unit 3 (Sierra Nevada, Death Valley area, Northern Mojave Desert and Transverse Ranges).

Workings include underground openings comprised of a rudimentary shaft (perhaps 15 feet deep).
