A former lode Au mine located in sec. 26, T5N, R12E, MDM, 4.5 km (2.8 miles) SSE of Jesus Maria, in the headwaters area of Murray Creek (5 miles NE of San Andres). Operated around 1914. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 500 meters.
Mineralization is a vein deposit. The ore body is 1.52 meters thick. Local rocks include Paleozoic marine rocks, undivided, unit 4 (Western Sierra Nevada).
Workings include underground openings with a length of 42.67 meters and comprised of a 140 foot drift adit.
