Mineralization is a vein deposit. The ore body strikes N and dips E at a thickness of 13.72 meters. The deposit is a gold vein on the Mother Lode as much as 45 feet thick. The vein is banded in places. The entire 40 foot zone is said to be gold-bearing pay rock. Local rocks include undivided pre-Cenozoic metavolcanic rocks, unit 2 (undivided) and/or Jurassic marine rocks, unit 1 (Western Sierra Nevada and Western Klamath Mountains).
Workings include surface and underground openings with a length of 42.67 meters developed by 2 adits and an open cut. One crosscut adit encountered ore 100 feet from the portal, which divides 2 clainms. The drifts extend both sides with the adit going through a 40 foot section of the vein.
