A Cr occurrence located in sec. 8, T15N, R2E, HM, 0.2 km (800 feet) NNW of Boulder Ridge and 2.9 km (9,500 feet) NNW of Little Rattlesnake Mountain, on Shelly Creek, 3 miles beyond Patrick Creek Stage Station on the Gra S Road, on National Forest land. NOTE: The MRDS database stated accuracy for this locality is 500 meters.
NOTE: The T&R values and coordinates provided by the MRDS database correspond; however, the locality is on the N end of Boulder Ridge, nowhere near Shelly Creek or Patrick Creek. Issue is unresolved.
Associated rocks include ultramafic rocks, chiefly Mesozoic, unit 3 (Coast Ranges and Western Klamath Mountains).
