A Au occurrence/prospect located in sec. 21, T8N, R22E, MDM, 5.1 km (3.2 miles) E of Mineral Mountain (coordinates of record), in the headwaters area of Snodgrass Creek, near the Mono County line, on National Forest wilderness land (Carson-Iceberg Wilderness). MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 1,000 meters.

Local rocks include Cretaceous marine rocks (in part nonmarine), unit 2 (West Walker River).
