A Au-Ag-Pb occurrence/mine located in sec. 28 & 29 (?), T10N, R21E, MDM, 2.0 km (6,400 feet) ESE of Mogul Peak (coordinates of record) (1½ miles by trail N from Loope), and NNE of Colorado Hill on National Forest land. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 1,000 meters.

NOTE: There are 3 MRDS database files which pertain to this locality; however, only one (#10034931) provides geographic coordinates which correspond to the description of its location found in all 3 files (proximity to Loope), as well other salient data (clayey seams).

Mineralization is a clayey seam in altered volcanic rock. High-grade ore on surface and clay seams. Local rocks include Tertiary volcanic flow rocks, unit 17 (Cascade Range) and/or Tertiary pyroclastic and volcanic mudflow deposits, unit 9 (Cascade Range) (andesite and related rocks of intermediate composition).

Workings include surface and underground openings comprised of a few shallow prospect holes, a 50 foot tunnel and a 20 foot crosscut.
