A former lode Au mine located in the NW¼ (estimated) sec. 15, T20N, R5E, MDM, 2.8 km (9,200 feet) ESE of Mount Hope, in the headwaters area of Union Creek, NW of Union Hill. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 500 meters.

Mineralization is hosted in mica schist and hornfels. Local rocks include Mesozoic granitic rocks, unit 3 (Sierra Nevada, Death Valley area, Northern Mojave Desert and Transverse Ranges).

Workings include surface and underground openings comprised of 2 inclines in the NE¼NW¼ and several pits in the NW¼NW¼ and a 110 foot adit to the vein in the W½NW¼.
