A Au mine located in the NW¼ sec. 15, T20N, R5E, MDM, 2.5 km (8,100 feet) ESE of Mount Hope. MRDS database accuracy for this location is not stated.
Mineralization is sulfides in quartz veins and stringers in mica schist and hornfels. Local rocks include Mesozoic granitic rocks, unit 3 (Sierra Nevada, Death Valley area, Northern Mojave Desert and Transverse Ranges).
Workings include surface and underground openings comprised of 2 inclines (NE¼NW¼), several pits (NW¼NW¼), and a 110 foot long adit to the vein (in the W½NW¼).
