A former lode Au mine located in the SW¼SW¼ sec. 28 & in the NW¼NW¼ sec. 33, T20N, R6E, MDM (The original record had no geographic coordinates; these coordinates were derived from the PLSS description provided), 3.6 km (2.2 miles) ESE of Crystal Hill. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 500 meters.
Mineralization is hosted in granodiorite. Two quartz veins strike ENE in granodiorite. Local rocks include Mesozoic granitic rocks, unit 3 (Sierra Nevada, Death Valley area, Northern Mojave Desert and Transverse Ranges).
Wrkings include surface and underground openings comprised of a shaft, adit and several pits.
Analytical data results: Sulfides assayed 0.15 - 0.20 ounces Au/ton.
