A former lode Au-Cu-Mn mine located in the S½NW¼ sec. 18, T23N, R4E, MDM, 4.1 km (2.6 miles) ENE of Nimshew, just SE of Paradise Lake, along Little Butte Creek (0.5 mile ESE of Magalia Camp), on National Forest land and/or private land. Owned and operated by H. Bartram, Coutolanc, California. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 500 meters.
Mineralization is hosted in dolomite and schist. The ore body strikes N & NW and dips E. The host rock is described as decomposed. Local rocks include Tertiary pyroclastic and volcanic mudflow deposits, unit 9 (Cascade Range).
Workings include surface openings comprised of shallow cuts on veins in dike.
