A former drift Au mine located in the SW¼ sec. 20, T22N, R4E, MDM, 2.9 km (9,500 feet) WNW of Deadwood, along the West Branch Feather River. Operated by Edgar Knox, Magalia, California. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 500 meters.
Local rocks include Mesozoic gabbroic rocks, unit 2 (undivided).
