A former lode Au mine located in the W½NE¼SW¼ (estimated) sec. 6, T22N, R6E, MDM, 6.5 km (4.0 miles) E of Big Bar Mountain, along Rody Creek, on National Forest land. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 1,000 meters.

Mineralization is hosted in granite. Local rocks include Mesozoic granitic rocks, unit 3 (Sierra Nevada, Death Valley area, Northern Mojave Desert and Transverse.

Workings include underground openings with an overall depth of 91.44 meters, comprised of a 700 foot adit with additional prospecting activities.
