A former placer Au-Ag mine located in sec. 20, T25N, R5E, MDM, 2.2 km (7,100 feet) NNW of Table Mountain (coordinates of record), in the headwaters area of the East Fork Chance Creek, on National Forest land. MRDS database accuracy for this location is not stated.
NOTE: The MRDS database presented geographic coordinates of 39°59'41"N, 121°22'03"W for this locality. These coordinates place it in Plumas County. Research of the coordinates for the center of sec. 20, T25N, R5E, MDM, clearly place that section in Butte County. The MRDS file does not contain any further data of value in placing this locality in geogra;phic context.
