A former lode Au mine located in the S½SW¼ (estimated) sec. 3, and in the N½NE¼ sec. 10 (estimated) (Comprises lots 54 & 56), T19N, R6E, MDM, 1.4 km (4,800 feet) NW of Forbestown, near the Old Forbestown cemetary, along Forbestown Ravine, on National Forest land. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 1,000 meters.
Local rocks include Mesozoic volcanic rocks, unit 2 (Western Sierra Foothills and Western Klamath Mountains).
Workings include underground openings comprised of several adits. The "Joe" adit is 635 feet long with 170 feet of backs at the face. The "Annette" adit is 300 feet long.
