A Au prospect located in sec. 3, T7N, R10E, MDM, 1.7 km (1.1 miles) WNW of Plymouth, on private property. Operated by Richard Hosking C/O B. H. Richardson. Operated in 1914. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 1,000 meters.
Mineralization is a quartz vein deposit on the Mother Lode Belt, hosted in Ruin Granite (metavolcanic rock). Local rocks include Mesozoic volcanic rocks, unit 2 (Western Sierra Foothills and Western Klamath Mountains).
Workings include underground openings comprised of a 50 foot shaft.
