A former lode Au mine located in secs. 11 & 12, T7N, R13E, MDM, 3.3 km (2.0 miles) NE of barton, along Mill Creek (about 12 miles E of Volcano), on private land. Operated by Arthur Berg. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 1,000 meters.

Mineralization is a quartz vein deposit hosted in granodiorite. Local rocks include Paleozoic marine rocks, undivided, unit 4 (Western Sierra Nevada).

Workings include underground openings comprised of 3 adits at 50, 100 and 200 feet long, respectively.
