A Au occurrence/claim/mine located in the NW¼NE¼ sec. 36, T7N, R10E, MDM, 0.5 km (0.3 mile) N of Amador City (just outside the northern city limit; adjoins the Eclipse Mine on the N), on private land. Operated by J. W. Bullock C/O C. E. Crandall. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 500 meters. One of the claims consolidated with the Original Amador.
Mineralization is a quartz vein deposit hosted in slate. This claim lies entirely in slate where a well-defined quartz vein or ledge was discovered down to 240 feet. Local rocks include Jurassic marine rocks, unit 1 (Western Sierra Nevada and Western Klamath Mountains).
Workings include underground openings with an overall depth of 73.15 meters and comprised of a 240 foot shaft (1890).
