A former lode Au mine located in the E½SW¼ (coordinates estimated) sec. 35, T8N, R10E, MDM, 1.9 km (1.2 miles) N of Plymouth, E of highway 49, and E & N of Big Indian Creek. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 1,000 meters.
Mineralization is a quartz vein deposit hosted in greenstone. The ore body is 2.44 meters thick and 152.4 meters wide. The vein has greenstone walls and trends NE. It is intersected by a NW-trending vein at the S end of the claim. The NW vein has a slate hanging wall. Local rocks include Jurassic marine rocks, unit 1 (Western Sierra Nevada and Western Klamath Mountains).
Workings include underground openings with a length of 106.68 meters and an overall depth of 51.82 meters, and comprised of a 350 foot adit.
