A Au occurrence/prospect located slightly E of the center sec. 14, T7N, R10E, MDM, about 2.3 km SSE of Plymouth, N of Dry Creek, on private land. Operated by E. S. Barney estate C/O Anna M. Irving. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 500 meters.
Mineralization is a vein deposit hosted in the Ruin Granite unit (slate). There are 2 parallel veins. Local rocks include Jurassic marine rocks, unit 1 (Western Sierra Nevada and Western Klamath Mountains).
Workings include underground openings comprised of a 37 foot shaft with a 50 foot adit on the E vein. A 50 foot crosscut adit, 50 feet short of the W vein.
