A Au occurrence/prospect located in sec. 27 and in the SE¼ sec. 28, T6N, R11E, MDM, 0.8 km (0.5 mile) NW of Scottsville and 1.4 km (0.9 mile) SE of Jackson, on the lower N slope of Tunnel Hill, E of highway 49. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 500 meters.
Local rocks include Jurassic marine rocks, unit 1 (Western Sierra Nevada and Western Klamath Mountains).
