A placer Au occurrence located in sec. 29, T8N, R11E, MDM, 3.5 km (2.2 miles) WNW of Fiddletown, E side of the Shenandoah Valley, W of Big Indian Creek and SE of the Shenandoah School (3 miles N of Plymouth). MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 10,000 meters (sic). Orr was in charge of a placer operation in the middle of 1936.
Local rocks include Mesozoic granitic rocks, unit 3 (Sierra Nevada, Death Valley area, Northern Mojave Desert and Transverse Ranges).
Operation treated between 200 to 250 cubic yards of gravel per day.
