A former lode Au mine located in sec. 34, T6N, R11E, MDM, 1.1 km (0.7 mile) SSE of Scottsville and about 2 miles S of Jackson, on private land. Owned by Ralph McGee (1953). MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 500 meters. Cryptic USGS MRDS file note: Min Rec CD has NE of SW a 975 feet one of two is wrong.
No geologic description. Local rocks include Jurassic marine rocks, unit 1 (Western Sierra Nevada and Western Klamath Mountains).
Workings include underground openings with an overall depth 45.72 meters and comprised of a 150 foot shaft.
