A former Au occurrence/mine located in sec. 3, T5N, R11E, and in sec. 34, T6N, R11E, MDM, 1.6 km (1.0 mile) S of Scottsville, along the E side of Murphy Gulch, on private land. Some work done in 1933. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 500 meters.
Mineralization is a vein deposit (same vein as the Amador Queen Mine). Local rocks include Jurassic marine rocks, unit 1 (Western Sierra Nevada and Western Klamath Mountains).
Workings include unspecified underground openings.
