A Au occurrence/mine located in sec. 35, T8N, R10E, MDM, 2.2 km (1.4 miles) N of Plymouth, E of Big Indian Creek and highway 49, on private land. Operated by Tony Levaggi. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 1,000 meters.
Mineralization is hosted in greenstone and slate. The ore body is 3.05 meters thick. The vein has a slate footwall and a greenstone hanging wall and is 4 to 10 feet thick. Local rocks include Jurassic marine rocks, unit 1 (Western Sierra Nevada and Western Klamath Mountains).
Workings include underground openings comprised of a 60 degree inclined 100 foot shaft with a 50 foot drift at its base.
