A Au occurrence/prospect located in sec. 23, T8N, R10E, MDM, 0.7 km (0.4 mile) SSE of Enterprise, along Big Indian Creek & highway 49 (about 3 miles N of Plymouth), on private land. Ownership in common with the Amador Star Mine. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 1,000 meters. This mine is adjacent to, and associated with, the Amador Queen No. 1 Mine.
Mineralization is a vein deposit. The ore body strikes N10W and dips 60-80E. Three parallel quartz veins occur. The vein in the footwall is developed. The footwall is diabase and the hanging wall is black slate. The average vein thickness is 4 feet. Local rocks include Mesozoic volcanic rocks, unit 2 (Western Sierra Foothills and Western Klamath Mountains).
Workings include underground openings comprised of a crosscut adit 400 feet long and a 200 foot drift.
