A lode Au occurrence/prospect located in sec. 33, T8N, R10E, MDM, 1.9 km (1.1 miles) NNE of Bisbee Peak (coordinates of record) (about 1½ miles NW of Plymouth). Operator State Of California California. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 1,000 meters.
Mineralization is a quartz vein deposit hosted in diabase. The ore body strikes N45W and dips 50NE at a thickness of 3.66 meters. The vein is 4 to 12 feet thick in brecciated diabase. Local rocks include Paleozoic marine rocks, undivided, unit 4 (Western Sierra Nevada).
Workings include underground openings comprised of an inclined shaft 300 feet deep, now caved.
