A former U-V occurrence/mine located in the center sec. 16, T41N, R19E, G&SRM, 7.0 km (4.3 miles) SW of Goulding (San Juan County, Utah).

Mineralization is an U deposit with uraninite ore hosted in the Shinarump paleochannel cut into Moenkopi Formation. The ore extends down into the Hoenkopi. Local rocks include Quaternary surficial deposits, undivided.

Workings include surface and underground openings comprised of a 145 foot deep open pit and some room and pillar underground workings from the bottom of the pit.

Production was 223,237 tons of ore at 0.26% U3O8; 0.21% V205 (1956 and 1959-1966).
