A former U-V occurrence/mine located in the approximate center sec. 2, T40N, R19E, G&SRM, 5.4 km (3.4 miles) ENE of Boot Mesa (coordinates of record), on the east flank of the O1jeto syncline. Operated during the period 1957 and was abandoned in 1960-1961 due to flooding.

Mineralization is a paleochannel U-V deposit with an approximate 5 foot thick ore zone in a N-S-trending channel of the Shinarump Member of the Chinle Formation. Local rocks include Quaternary surficial deposits, undivided.

Workings include underground openings comprised of a 360 foot incline at 30° with 2 haulage drifts and stoping.

Production was 2,140 tons of ore at 0.18% U3O8 and 0.59% V2O5 (1959-1960).
