Massive pyrophyllite is exposed intermittently along a low ridge between the headwaters of Turkey Creek and Sweetwater Creek in western Paulding county, about 1.7 miles southeast of Harmony Grove Church. Outcrops and float indicate a length of about 1200 feet and width up to 250 feet. The bounding rocks are fine- to medium-grained muscovite-biotite granite gneiss.
